Old Married Women Seeking Men

Well, just how old is old? For many people between the ages of 50 and 80, marriage is a no-go zone but if someone chooses to be objective, there really is nothing wrong with two adults of sound mind coming together to share their lives. Are you in love and feeling like tying the knot at 50 or more? The only thing holding you from your dream marriage is you…nothing else. ‘Age is nothing but a number’ so the old adage goes and this is as true as you allow it to be. Plus, there is some wisdom that can only be gained with age and experience and maybe this could be the marriage you have been waiting for all your life. Getting married should never be a matter of how old you are but what you intend to get out of the marriage. At that age, what the partners want is a second chance at love and marriage and they should not be deprived of this chance by an all-too judgmental society. Older people have been through relationships and marriages and have learnt their lessons through experience. They are less likely to make mistakes.

Once again, I’m going to say this…there is nothing wrong with falling in love all over again when your kids are all grown and gone. Let’s face it; not all marriages solemnized today will last until the couple is old. With the rates of divorce skyrocketing, it has been estimated that only ten percent of those marriages solemnized today will last a lifetime. Seeking a second marriage; especially for those whose marriages are ended by the death of a spouse should not be hard.

It is no doubt harder for a person to settle with a new spouse at this age; but just like any marriage, it has its challenges. Older people are more stable emotionally and financially. The latter affects young marriages and has been the number one cause for divorce in the world today. Older people are more open with their communication unlike younger couples. Careers among older people are more developed therefore these marriages are more likely to last.
